Role Purpose :
The purpose of the role is to manage Design Unit projects such that they are delivered on time, on budget, within scope, to the expected quality level, and to client satisfaction.

For projects assigned to PM, responsible for:
- Project delivery on time, on cost, quality, and scope for Design Unit projects
- On time : Project is delivered in compliance with the current approved baseline schedule (from P6). Any deviations are managed proactively through change or recovery plans.
- On cost : Project is delivered as per approved baseline cost and monthly phasing. Any deviations are managed proactively through change or recovery plans.
- Quality : Ensure adherence to technical assurance procedures and compliance with the quality audit plan.
- Scope : Ensure scope is formally tracked against a scope baseline, with changes identified accordingly.
- On time invoicing & cash collection
- Maintain positive client satisfaction in line with company objectives
- Manage and administer the contract formally
- Identify required resources to complete the project monthly
- Provide factual project reporting based on objective data
- Monitor technical progress, remaining hours/costs, and phasing
- Ensure compliance with company standards and implement corrective actions
- Support planning activities, including schedule reviews and amendments
- Manage changes, including internal and client approvals
- Escalate issues impacting HSE, project objectives, or personnel to the operational manager
- Prepare monthly project review materials
- Maintain project risk register as per process
Key Result Areas :
- Projects delivered on time, within budget, with no unresolved NCRs, and high client satisfaction
- Meet or exceed the approved MBA at project completion
- Achieve positive client satisfaction
- No safety incidents
- Timely closure of NCRs
- Days sales outstanding less than 90 days
- Unbilled less than 60 days
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
Experience :
Minimum of 20 years in civil or architecture engineering
Job-Specific Skills :
- Extensive experience supervising large civil/industrial projects and site developments
- Expertise in detail design and construction
- Management of multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of engineering standards and regulations
- Professional engineering license
- Strong planning, earned value analysis, and cost management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools
- Proven leadership and multi-project management abilities
