Key Accountabilities:
- Participate in the formulation and implementation of the cybersecurity strategy to ensure alignment with Saudia's overall business strategy and risk appetite.
- Lead the development, review, and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance, consistency, and risk reduction across the organization.
- Oversee the cybersecurity governance framework, ensuring proper alignment between people, processes, and technologies to meet organizational security objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and advise on technology dependencies and third-party risks that fall outside of direct control, ensuring proper governance and risk mitigation plans are in place.
- Lead the organization's cybersecurity compliance efforts, including adherence international standards (e.g., NCA, GDPR, ISO 27001), and respond to audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Provide subject-matter expertise to support cybersecurity program planning, maturity assessments, and roadmap development in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the use of cyber threat intelligence and analytics to proactively assess external threats, evaluate vulnerabilities, and advise leadership on appropriate actions.
- Support the integration and governance of cyber defense data (e.g., IDS, logs, traffic) into risk assessments and decision-making processes. Refocus efforts from purely technical response to strategic governance.
- Guide and mentor team members involved in cybersecurity governance functions, promoting a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related discipline is required
- Advanced English language proficiency is required.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of eleven years work experience with at least five of which in a relevant function and four years in supervisory roles.
