Hill International is a leading global construction consulting firm that provides program and project management, construction management, cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection, scheduling, risk management, and claims avoidance to clients involved in major construction projects worldwide. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of construction projects from conception to completion.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure the timely and cost-effective execution of MEP works.
Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
Monitor and control project budgets and schedules for MEP works.
Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site visits to inspect MEP works and provide technical guidance to contractors.
Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors and ensure their work meets quality standards.
Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in MEP management on construction projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and regulations.
Excellent project management and leadership skills.
*Proven vertical portfolio of villas and residential units
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
