Job description

We are seeking an experienced FM Services Lead to oversee the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of all facilities at KAIA Aerodrome. As the FM Services Lead, you will lead a team of skilled engineers and technicians, ensuring the safe and effective maintenance of the airfield infrastructure while adhering to international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of engineers and technicians responsible for airfield maintenance.
  • Ensure team members are trained, equipped, and qualified for safe task execution.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, conducting performance reviews and providing development opportunities.
  • Oversee the comprehensive facilities management program for the aerodrome, including pavements, drainage, signage, lighting, buildings, and grounds.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards (ICAO Annex 14, EASA, FAA, GACAR 139, KAIA Aerodrome Manual, KAIA SOPs).
  • Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks to optimize efficiency and minimize disruption.
  • Conduct regular inspections of airfield facilities, ensuring maintenance work meets quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions for deficiencies and maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and test results.
  • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports on maintenance, inspections, and issues, identifying trends and proposing solutions.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment for airfield maintenance, ensuring availability and good condition.
  • Implement cost-effective inventory control practices.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or airfield maintenance operations.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing engineers and technicians.
  • Knowledge of international standards (ICAO, EASA, FAA, GACAR 139).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAFM systems (a plus).
  • Valid Saudi driver's license required.
