Sudair Pharmaceutical company is looking for a Sr. Supply Planning Specialistin Sudair city.

Job Summary:

Sr. Supply Planning Specialist is responsible for ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, to support uninterrupted production and business operations. This role involves planning material requirements based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory policies, while optimizing cost and minimizing waste.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based on production schedules and demand forecasts.

Coordinate with production teams to align manufacturing schedules with supply plans.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely purchase and delivery of raw materials, components, and packaging.

Monitor inventory levels and adjust material plans to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Maintain accurate records of material data, supplier lead times, and reorder points.

Liaise with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to align material availability with operational needs.

Identify and resolve material supply issues, delays, or discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards for all incoming materials.

Generate regular reports on material status, stock coverage, and KPIs.

Support new product introductions by planning material requirements and phasing out obsolete stock.

Continuously improve planning processes and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.

Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning data and generate supply plans

Prepare and present supply planning reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

24 years of experience in materials planning, inventory control, or procurement.

  • Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), MRP tools, and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Experience in identifying supply-related risks, developing solutions, and making data-driven decisions under pressure.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Material Requirements Planning: Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control techniques (safety stock, reorder points, EOQ, turnover analysis) to ensure material availability and optimize stock levels.

ERP Systems: Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics for materials planning and data analysis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Effective coordination with procurement, production, logistics, and warehouse teams for smooth material flow

Inventory Management:

Knowledge of inventory control techniques such as safety stock, reorder points, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and inventory turnover analysis.

Understanding of inventory optimization strategies, safety stock calculations, and stock level monitoring to prevent shortages or excess.

Industry-Specific Compliance: Familiar with industry-specific standards and regulations such as GMP, ISO, and SOX related to supply chain Planning.
