Are you passionate about driving large-scale projects to success in the oil and gas sector? We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Planning Engineer to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia . Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and update comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Define project milestones , activities , and work breakdown structures aligned with the overall project scope.
• Track progress , monitor deviations from the baseline, and identify potential delays and bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including project managers, site engineers, procurement, and subcontractors, to gather accurate status updates and integrate schedules.
• Perform critical path analysis , assess project risks, and develop recovery plans when required.
• Link time schedules with budget forecasts to support the cost control process.
• Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports , dashboards, and progress presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements , industry standards, and regulatory frameworks (especially within Saudi Arabia).
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master schedule and ensure alignment with the overall project timeline.
• Analyze resource allocation and productivity data to support planning efficiency and optimization.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer within the oil and gas industry is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in planning and scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 , MS Project , and related project management software.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and construction workflows.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory standards is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English ; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Clear communicator capable of explaining complex data to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time , prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
• Excellent collaboration within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams .
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy , safety, and quality.
• Results-driven with a customer-centric approach and a high level of initiative.
