Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-oriented Pre-Sales Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team and prospective customers to understand their cybersecurity and IT needs, demonstrate technical solutions, and design customized proposals that align with business and security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with prospects and customers to gather technical and business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored IT/cybersecurity solutions using our product/service portfolio.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and Proof of Concept (POC) deployments.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives to develop and present proposals and RFP responses.
  • Create technical documentation including architecture diagrams, solution scopes, and deployment plans.
  • Act as a liaison between sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and vendor solutions.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles (firewalls, endpoint security, IAM, SIEM).
  • Experience with IT infrastructure (cloud, networking, virtualization).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams.

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or cloud certs (AWS/Azure).
  • Experience with tools such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, etc.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
