Early Career Trainee – Quality Project Manager Support

The Early Career Traineeship is designed for recent graduates, where Baker Hughes will train new talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship lasts 12 months in Dammam, KSA and aims to develop your technical knowledge and soft skills through on-the-job learning and exposure.

As part of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:

  • Attending classroom trainings and field jobs to understand quality project management and assurance. By the end of the program, you will possess comprehensive knowledge of quality control requirements for centrifugal compressors, turbomachinery packaging and testing, workshop operations, and business policies.

  • Leading inspections, notifications, and tests with customer representatives, ensuring contractual compliance and documentation approval.

  • Participating in final inspections with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues collaboratively.

  • Reviewing and closing punch lists to ensure all points are addressed.

  • Monitoring resolution of punch list items and following up on IRC/IRN issuance.

  • Attending critical inspection activities and meetings with customer representatives.

  • Issuing NCRs via e-NCR system as per procedures.

  • Reporting customer complaints and archiving deviation requests.

  • Ensuring availability of material certifications and documentation compliance.

  • Leading periodic reviews with MDR teams and monitoring data collection.

  • Participating in project team meetings and identifying lessons learned.

  • Conducting continuous improvement activities and quality initiatives.

  • Analyzing quality performance data and interfacing with customers and certifying authorities.

  • Supporting QMR preparation with statistical and analytical data.

To be successful in this traineeship, you will:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, or Chemical Engineering, graduated within the last 24 months.

  • Be fluent in written and spoken English with effective communication skills.

  • Be inquisitive, eager to learn, and capable of working under pressure.

  • Possess a self-starting attitude.

  • Be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship or restrictions.
