Early Career Trainee – Electrical Technician

The Early Career Traineeship is designed for recent graduates. Baker Hughes will train fresh talent who meet the required criteria to perform their traineeship in a specific business. The traineeship duration is 6 to 12 months and aims to develop your technical knowledge and soft skills through on-the-job learning and exposure.

Aspart of our Early Career Traineeship, you will be involved in:

Our traineeship duration is 12 months and will give you firsthand insights into processes, systems, and practices aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of leading-edge technology. The program will develop your technical knowledge and soft skills as an Electrical Technician and provide practical experience.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, and understand the use of tools and measuring instruments.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and identify and correct issues.
• Install and mount electrical equipment, including subpanels, cable trays, circuit breakers, wiring, and junction boxes; cut/pull cables and terminate cables.
• Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
• Assemble/disassemble, adjust, and install electrical materials to meet tolerance and product operating requirements.
• Perform testing such as functional and continuity tests.
• Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental directives and regulations.
• Ownership for completing QC sheets, manufacturing forms, and work completion forms.
