Through significant investments in technology and infrastructure, we aim to maximize the value of the energy we produce while enhancing Aramco’s societal value.

Headquartered in Saudi Arabia with global offices, we combine market discipline with a forward-looking perspective, backed by nine decades of responsible stewardship of our hydrocarbon resources. This responsibility drives us to deliver societal and economic benefits locally and internationally, supporting communities, economies, and countries reliant on our energy.

We are one of the most profitable companies worldwide and rank among the top five globally by market capitalization.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) Terminal Representative to join our Terminal Pilotage Operation Division.

Saudi Aramco operates ten terminals, including Juaymah SBM Crude Oil Terminal with six SBMs located 15 miles offshore.

The primary role involves assisting the Harbor Pilot with mooring/unmooring operations at the buoy, conducting safety inspections, coordinating cargo operations, and monitoring ship activities during loading. The incumbent is empowered to halt unsafe operations during a ship’s visit to the facility.

  • Assist the Harbor Pilot with mooring/unmooring, supervise hose connections, and monitor loading operations.
  • Act as Saudi Aramco cargo inspector in case of cargo discrepancies.
  • Be on a callout schedule, staying onboard during loading and sailing, and ashore between assignments.
  • Monitor shipboard operations throughout the stay at SBM in collaboration with the Harbor Pilot.
  • Liaise between offshore personnel and ship Master/Officers during cargo operations.
  • Coordinate activities during startup, line displacement, topping off, and completion of loading.
  • Conduct pre-berthing inspections, including machinery and crane checks.
  • Inspect SBM mooring hawsers, ropes, cargo hoses, and related equipment regularly.
  • Ensure compliance with port rules and safety regulations throughout the ship’s stay.
