Job Summary

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Department: Supply Chain

Location: 2nd Industrial City, Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

To conduct in-depth analysis of procurement data, develop insightful procurement models, and provide strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making and drive value optimization. This includes monitoring procurement performance, identifying trends and risks in the supply chain, and contributing to the overall efficiency and strategic objectives of the procurement function and the organization.

Job Responsibility

  • Review procurement submissions from various departments for completeness, consistency of information, and insightful commentary on variances and trends.
  • Follow-up and resolve outstanding procurement reports and data submissions from relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and update a monthly procurement report submission scorecard to track the timely receipt of all required reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations for management meetings on key procurement activities and performance.
  • Provide ongoing decision-making support to procurement team members on sourcing strategies, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations.
  • Explore opportunities for cost savings and volume discounts by leveraging the organization's collective purchasing power and identifying potential synergies.
  • Assist the procurement function in mitigating financial and operational risks associated with supplier contracts, agreements, and market dynamics.
  • Prepare and maintain a historical procurement dashboard, summarizing key financial data and analytics related to purchasing activities.
  • Update the historical procurement dashboard following year-end reviews and budget approvals.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the Procurement Policy and Procedures manual.
  • Recommend improvements to the Procurement Policy and Procedures manual and support the implementation of enhanced processes and controls.
  • Perform other job-related projects and/or assignments as requested by the Procurement leadership team and/or Finance function.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPM) are a plus.
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a procurement analysis or similar role.
