The team is looking for a Senior Conference Producer who can demonstrate they have their finger on the pulse of our fast-paced industry. The successful candidate will be confident in speaking to expert speakers globally and selling the opportunity to showcase their expertise at our events. With meticulous organisational skills, you will manage speakers and the event schedule on-site.

What you will do

Conference Production

• Produce high-level relevant industry conference programmes
• Liaise with key professionals, institutions, and companies for conference content
• Engage and confirm attendance of speakers
• Maintain and update the speaker database
• Prepare creative briefs for marketing
• Lead telesales briefs and follow-ups
• Ensure CME/CPD applications are completed on time
• Assist sponsorship team with leads and attend sales meetings
• Mentor other conference producers
• Conduct post-event analysis

Market Research and Industry Networks

• Research topics with industry professionals
• Develop new conference ideas and content
• Generate ideas to enhance the conference portfolio
• Identify key opinion leaders and institutions
• Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders
• Explore additional delegate attraction methods

Speaker & Delegate Liaison

• Liaise with speakers, exhibitors, and delegates onsite
• Maintain customer service standards
• Assist with onsite duties during events

Qualifications

What you will bring

• 6 years in events management, with at least 2 years in conference production
• Experience delivering large-scale conferences (>10,000 attendees)
• Good understanding of Asian markets, especially China, Hong Kong, Taiwan
• Understanding of and exposure to the KSA market, preferably with government contacts
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure
• Experience in process improvement and launching new initiatives

Preferred but not essential

• Experience in research roles
• Sales experience including proposals and pitching
• Journalism skills (copywriting/editing)
• Fluency in Mandarin
