JOB INFORMATION



Job Title: Consultant Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine



JOB SUMMARY



Lead the pediatric respiratory medicine team as a consultant, providing specialized sleep and respiratory care. You will be responsible for delivering expert medical care to patients with pulmonary disorders, including but not limited to asthma, chronic obstructive sleep and respiratory disorders, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, and respiratory infections. Coordinate with other medical professionals to enhance respiratory services and drive the development of advanced pulmonary care at our prestigious hospital.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Provide high-quality Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine care to patients.
  • Offer consultative services as requested.
  • Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  • Participate in training and teaching of residents and fellows, and engage in research activities.
  • Participate in committees and administrative functions as needed.
  • Perform special procedures with privileges.
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



Education



  • Graduate from a reputable medical school.
  • Completion of required training in Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
  • Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
  • Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for a consultant.
  • A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is mandatory.
  • Dataflow verification is required.

Professional Experience



  • Minimum of 3-4 years post-Board/Fellowship experience in Pediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine.
  • Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language



  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
