Job Description - Principal Mechanical Engineer (Offshore) (AL 03S1):

Primary objective
Perform professional engineering work involving considerable independence in approach, demanding considerable degree of originality, ingenuity and judgement, knowledge and expertise in Skid Package Engineering and Static Equipment Engineering.
Responsible for leading a team of engineers and designers for the design, review, and verification of engineering on assigned projects to ensure safe, reliable, and fit-for-purpose design.
Coordinate tasks within engineering disciplines and ensure alignment with all disciplines.
Oversee the progress and quality of assigned tasks, including supervising and developing engineers, designers, and graduates.
Provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients for operational problems and capacity constraints of existing facilities.
Develop and maintain quality design standards through clear procedures.
Ensure all work conforms to codes, standards, contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and safety procedures.
Engineer all design work in line with QA manual and Worley's procedures.

Select materials appropriately, review vendor data, and coordinate procurement activities, ensuring timely delivery.
