The Account Manager is responsible for managing A and B accounts, serving as the primary contact to grow sales of consumables & services through account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and product & application expertise. This role involves owning the account relationship to achieve annual growth targets, conveying Pall’s value to build long-term customer relationships, and utilizing sales tools and processes to support growth. The position requires travel across Saudi Arabia and mentoring junior sales team members, with potential for growth.

This role reports to the Country Sales Manager, is part of the Energy + Sales department, and is based in Saudi Arabia as an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed targets, and expand market share by building strong relationships with end-users and management, promoting Pall technologies and identifying high-value opportunities.
  2. Provide technical support in manufacturing technologies to develop solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to develop strategies that address customer needs and secure sales, reporting opportunities through SFDC and other tools.
  4. Present and demonstrate Pall’s technologies within customer processes, collaborating with sales teams to showcase solutions.
  5. Maintain regular high-level customer interactions, develop detailed customer profiles, and stay ahead of industry trends to position products advantageously.
  6. Use sales tools like success stories, presentations, ROI calculations, and proposals to support growth.

Minimum requirements:

  1. 5+ years’ experience in providing products/services to Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Industrial sectors, or relevant engineering experience aiming to transition into technical sales. Knowledge of Gas Processing, NGL, Petrochemicals is preferred.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/chemical engineering, chemistry, biological sciences, or equivalent experience.
  3. Experience in filtration and separation industries is desirable.
  4. Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong presentation, negotiation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  5. Understanding of the Saudi Arabian market/culture.

Travel and physical requirements:

  1. Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory, including overnight stays.
  2. Valid Saudi driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  3. Ability to lift/move equipment up to 20 kg.

Preferred additional experience:

  1. Understanding customer needs, sales process execution, and guiding others in selling skills.
  2. Experience with sales funnel management (e.g., Salesforce.com) and strategic selling to large accounts.
  3. Experience in prospecting, networking, and meeting contact KPIs.
