Job description

Real Estate Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. The Real Estate Manager will support the Middle East Real Estate team, part of Amazon’s Africa, Middle East & Turkey Operations Real Estate organization.
  2. The Amazon AMET Real Estate team is responsible for the timely completion of property transactions including acquisitions, renewals, expansions, terminations, and reconfiguration of existing warehouse space in the AMET Region.
  3. The role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple work streams and possesses in-depth knowledge of planning law and warehouse development.
  4. Responsible for the growth and development of the operational network through sourcing new properties throughout AMET.
  5. Manage negotiations with landlords, agents, and lawyers.
  6. Possess in-depth knowledge of planning law, development projects, and site assembly.
  7. Report and deliver results to the senior leadership team.
  8. Implement a comprehensive due diligence process.
  9. This is a regional role with a focus on KSA.
  10. Require experience with progressive responsibility in real estate or related fields.
  11. Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's Degree; MBA from a reputable university is preferred.
  12. Experience with large-scale, project-driven workloads and reporting to multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
  13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
  14. Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) is desirable.
  15. Demonstrate problem-solving, mathematical, and analytical skills using data to drive business decisions.
  16. Ability to foster successful partnerships with cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and develop roadmaps.
  17. Strong leadership skills, especially in challenging situations, keeping teams focused and motivated.
  18. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  19. Strong negotiation skills.
  20. Experience dealing with real estate in Egypt.
