Job Title: Accountant (Tax & VAT Specialist )

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant with strong expertise in Saudi Tax , VAT compliance, and a deep understanding of the Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, preparing and filing VAT returns, and ensuring full compliance with local financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and file VAT returns as per ZATCA requirements.
  • Maintain proper accounting records and ensure financial statements comply with Saudi laws and standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide financial reports to management and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations including Zakat, VAT, and other statutory obligations.
  • Support financial decision-making through analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Solid understanding of Saudi tax laws, ZATCA regulations, and VAT procedures.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred:

  • Experience in trading or industrial sectors (tools, hardware, building materials).
  • Professional certifications (SOCPA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
