Job description

The Growth Manager - Search will play a pivotal role in scaling Omniful’s acquisition channels through strategic search marketing. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation, this role is responsible for managing and optimizing search engine marketing (SEM) and search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to drive qualified traffic, increase conversions, and support pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, and has a strong background in both paid search and organic search strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Search Engine Marketing (SEM):
    1. Develop and execute SEM strategies across Google Ads, Bing, and other relevant search platforms (like the emerging AI-based discovery channels like OpenAI), with a focus on driving qualified traffic, increasing lead volume, and optimizing ROI.
    2. Manage and optimize campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy testing, bidding strategies, and budget allocation, to ensure maximum impact and efficiency.
    3. Analyze and report on SEM performance, utilizing data to make strategic adjustments and enhance performance metrics like click-through rates (CTR), cost-per-click (CPC), and cost-per-lead (CPL).
  2. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
    1. Create and execute SEO strategies to improve Omniful’s organic search visibility, focusing on on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tactics.
    2. Conduct keyword research and content planning to ensure alignment with target audience search behaviors and market trends.
    3. Collaborate with Content Marketing and Product Marketing teams to optimize website content, blog posts, landing pages, and other assets for relevant keywords and search intent.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    1. Work closely with the Content and Product Marketing teams to align SEM and SEO initiatives with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesive messaging and brand consistency.
    2. Partner with the Sales and RevOps teams to understand the quality of leads generated through search channels, refining targeting and messaging to increase lead quality and conversion rates.
    3. Collaborate with Analytics and Reporting teams to track and measure performance metrics across the search funnel, using insights to guide continuous improvement.
  4. Testing and Optimization:
    1. Conduct A/B tests and experiments to continually improve ad performance, landing page conversions, and SEO impact.
    2. Monitor market trends and algorithm updates to ensure Omniful’s search strategies remain competitive and compliant with industry best practices.
    3. Regularly review and optimize landing pages, ad copy, and content for both SEM and SEO to maximize relevance and engagement.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 5+ years in SEM, SEO, or growth marketing roles, with a proven track record of driving traffic and conversions through search channels, with practical experience in GCC.
  2. Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
  3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in data analysis and reporting to measure campaign effectiveness, optimize performance, and inform decision-making.
  4. Keyword and Content Strategy: Experience in conducting keyword research, planning content for organic search, and collaborating with content teams to enhance SEO.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously, with a strong focus on organization, attention to detail, and timely execution.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively across departments to align search strategies with overall marketing objectives.
