1. Project Management Responsibilities
- Provide high-level project management skills to ensure the execution and effective implementation of the full scope.
- Develop communication plans to keep internal and external stakeholders informed and aligned to support hospital projects.
- Staff management, including hiring suitable personnel, training, supervising, and evaluating staff performance.
- Provide staff with necessary training, mentoring, and resources.
- Continuously evaluate employee performance and take corrective actions when needed.
- Prepare monthly activity reports, including customer satisfaction and development stages.
- Develop strong relationships with key functions and suppliers.
2. Technical Role
- Understand hospital expectations and translate them into product requirements; work directly with customers on technical issues.
- Establish connectivity, install, configure, and train on software solutions.
- Oversee IT management, develop, implement, and validate new interfaces.
- Gather and analyze data to prepare for system and application changes.
- Perform regular inspections of infrastructure supporting data center operations.
- Supervise subcontractors, ensuring scheduled preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Coordinate analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of in-house interfaces and integration systems.
- Validate and implement inbound and outbound interfaces like ADT, MFN, RGV^O15, ORU, and ORR messages between HIS/EMR and other systems.
- Transform third-party clinical system requests to local XML messages.
- Develop interfaces with HIS, All Scripts using Rhapsody/Iguana/Mirth, and implement devices with these systems.
- Participate in web application development using .NET (ASP.NET, C#.NET), IIS, XML scripting.
- Collaborate with hospital teams to set up environments, design test plans, and customize interfaces.
- Assist in configuration, installation, integration, decommissioning, monitoring, operation, maintenance, and recovery of hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions.
- Design network solutions meeting hospital requirements, document current designs, identify needs, and configure routers and VPN connectivity.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Strong training background and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare settings preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- At least three years of experience in hospital IT departments.
- Deep understanding of Healthcare IT, including departments, applications, and patient care.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Oracle/SQL, reporting tools, and dashboard creation for KPIs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
