The Procurement Manager leads and executes sourcing strategies to ensure the timely supply of quality raw materials and operational goods. This role supports uninterrupted production and drives cost-effective procurement aligned with company objectives.


Key Accountabilities

The position involves:


  • Analyzing the factory's raw material needs (e.g., flour, sugar, butter, packaging) and coordinating with production and warehouse departments.

  • Identifying and evaluating local and international suppliers, and negotiating terms to secure the best deals (price, quality, delivery time).

  • Preparing and managing purchase contracts, ensuring full compliance with agreed terms.

  • Monitoring inventory levels and forecasting shortages to prevent production delays.

  • Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures to ensure transparency and efficiency.

  • Overseeing international purchasing processes, including import and customs procedures when applicable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food or manufacturing sector.

  • Proven experience in negotiation, contract preparation, and supplier management.

  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, Oracle, SAP).
