Job description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  1. Process purchase orders received from NUPCO, CPs, and direct customers within the assigned territory.
  2. Manage end-to-end order processing from receipt of purchase order to delivery at the customer site.
  3. Oversee the order cycle, including system booking, sourcing, liaising with planners, coordinating with warehouse, splitting shipments by store mode, and organizing transportation with freight forwarders.
  4. Coordinate with planners on stock ordering from external/internal warehouses to ensure timely availability and proper stock allocation.
  5. Arrange shipping documents according to customer requirements, including export documents, licenses, declarations, packing, shipping, and routing of products.
  6. Analyze Letters of Credit upon receipt, advise customers on necessary amendments, and contact the advising bank if needed.
  7. Prepare documentation compliant with Letters of Credit, CAD, etc.
  8. Invoice timely in line with the monthly forecast.
  9. Utilize daily management tools by reviewing backlog and revenue recognition files.
  10. Handle customer inquiries related to pricing, stock availability, delivery, order status, and product information.
  11. Prepare tender requirements and project quotations.
  12. Liaise with departments regarding credit standings and compliance updates.
  13. Review operational procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  14. Support commercial forecast accuracy by providing estimates throughout the period.
  15. Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the commercial team and management.
  16. Understand and comply with Incoterms and export trade rules of different countries.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer service or logistics role.
  • Proficiency in IT skills and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes including drop shipping, export, transportation, and export terminology.
