Testing & Commissioning Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive testing plans to ensure all systems meet operational requirements before commissioning.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that testing protocols align with project specifications and regulatory standards.
3. Lead the troubleshooting process during testing phases, identifying issues and deploying immediate corrective actions to prevent delays.
4. Establish and maintain a robust documentation system for all testing and commissioning activities, ensuring traceability and compliance.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges during the testing and commissioning phases.
6. Facilitate training sessions for operational staff to ensure proper understanding and handling of systems post-commissioning.
7. Monitor and report on testing progress, providing stakeholders with regular updates and performance metrics.
8. Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants to ensure that all testing equipment and resources are available and functional.
9. Review and approve all test results, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and industry standards.
10. Act as the primary point of contact for all testing and commissioning inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to project teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in testing and commissioning within power stations or infrastructure projects; experience in large-scale projects preferred.
3. Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or relevant engineering accreditations are highly desirable.
4. Demonstrated expertise in system integration testing and acceptance testing methodologies.
5. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
6. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and risk management capabilities.
8. Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
