Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Assembly & Pressure testing in oil and gas industry.
  • Ability to interpret ISO engineering drawings and provide accurate assembly/Test reports.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble/Reassemble and pressure test recertified and new pressure control products.
  • Train new employees in operating level and HSE protocols.

In that role, you will be responsible for the Disassembly/Reassembly and pressure testing of recertified and new pressure control products.

As a Shop/Plant Operator -Assembler and Tester, you will also be responsible for:

  • Adhering to all applicable HSE rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
  • Performing assembly/Testing Valves and other pressure containing Oil & Gas related components according to relevant working instructions.
  • Interpreting, understanding and relating ISO engineering drawings to practical application and work instructions provide accurate assembly/Test reports.
  • Training of new employees to operating level and in the company’s HSE protocols.
  • Meeting delivery schedules, pre-set time for operations and quality of product.
  • Looking after material movements and machine loading within the operating area, including overhead crane operation.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Technical school certificate or similar diploma.
  • Have Mechanical/Engineering background and minimum of 1 year experience in Assembly & Pressure testing in oil and gas industry.
  • Have Basic computer literacy.
  • Have working understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Have working understanding of ISO and API (American Petroleum Institute) Standards.
