Job Summary:

The Security Coordinator (SAIS) is responsible for managing and coordinating security-related activities between the Petrolube and government agencies, especially SAIS and Civil Defense.

This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, facilitates communication with law enforcement and security entities, and implements policies to safeguard the organization's assets, personnel, and operations. The Security Coordinator acts as a liaison to enhance collaboration on security matters, risk mitigation, and emergency response planning.

Principals Responsibilities:

Government Liaison & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Petrolube and government security agencies (e.g., SAIS, Civil Defense, FSF etc.).

Ensure compliance of local security regulations, policies, and standards at Petrolube Plants and sites.

Monitor changes in security-related laws and advise management on necessary actions and inform the department's GM.

Security Coordination & Risk Management: Develop and implement security protocols in alignment with government requirements.

Conduct security risk assessments and collaborate with internal teams to address vulnerabilities.

Coordinate with government agencies on threat intelligence and crisis response.

Incident Reporting & Investigation: Assist in investigations involving security violations at Plants and collect information according to SAIS requirements.

Report security incidents to relevant government authorities as required.

Policy Development & Training: Keep updated about SAIS requirements and suggest security policies in consultation with SAIS for Plants.

Organize training sessions for staff on security procedures, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.

Access Control & Data Security: Oversee government-mandated security clearances for personnel and facilities at Petrolube sites.

Ensure sensitive data and operations adhere to government security standards.

Emergency & Crisis Response: Work with SAIS and Civil Defense to develop emergency response plans (e.g., terrorism, cyber threats, civil unrest) for plants and sites respectively.

Lead coordination efforts during site inspections by government security agencies, security incidents or evacuations.

Documentation & Communication: Maintain records of security audits, incidents, and government correspondence.

Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Remain in contact with SAIS and Civil Defense management, conduct regular meetings and share correspondence with the General Manager.

All the tasks are required to be reported and in complete coordination with the department's General Manager.

Conduct security related activities as requested by the General Manager.

Job Knowledge:

Knowledge of Security Management, SAIS Regulations, Risk assessment or corporate security etc.

Experience in communicating and dealing with law enforcement agencies.

Academic: High School /Diploma

Related Work Experience: 5 Years

Language skills:

Fluency in Arabic and able to understand and prepare English reports
