Job description: Job Purpose

Provide financial support for the manufacturing plant, ensuring precise allocation of costs to products within a standard cost framework. Monitor and report cost variances, value inventory, and support the operations team. Monitor expenses and allocate them to the final product.

Key Accountability Areas

Cost Comparison and Analysis:
  • Conduct comparisons between standard costs and estimated costs of products.
  • Analyze variances between standard and estimated costs to identify reasons in collaboration with project managers.
  • Compare planned costs with actual costs for both products and semi-finished goods.
Expense and Communication:
  • Determine the appropriate cost center for expense documents submitted by the payable department.
  • Communicate with project managers to provide feedback and request estimation sheets or explanations as needed.
Inventory and Production Monitoring:
  • Evaluate and verify the estimated costs of semi-finished goods.
  • Monitor consumption transactions related to production orders.
  • Ensure the accuracy of product confirmations.
  • Oversee the production cycle of products and ensure continuous recording in the system.
Documentation and Collaboration:
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (B.O.M) and routing documentation in coordination with project managers.
  • Follow up with design and production departments to finalize the closure of COGI (Cost of Goods Issued).
  • Identify and report program errors or user-caused issues to relevant parties for resolution.

  • Adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental management procedures to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and high-quality delivery.
