- Reliability Monitoring: Remain alert to identify and address any reliability issues within the plant.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement the site’s Preventive Maintenance Program and report any deviations immediately.
- Adhere to Procedures: Follow established procedures and rules to ensure smooth production and conduct maintenance activities as per the plan.
- Mechanical Skills:
- Change prime movers (motors).
- Replace or remove gearboxes.
- Rebuild and replace pumps, blowers, filters, and other mechanical equipment.
- Perform equipment alignments and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- On-Call Duties: Carry a company cell phone and be available on-call for a designated number of days each month.
- Safety Compliance: Understand and implement all safety and loss prevention protocols, following company rules and practices rigorously.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize all maintenance-related software effectively.
- Process Understanding: Comprehend process protocols and generate necessary compliance documentation.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve all maintenance-related issues promptly.
- Cost and Quality Improvement: Seek opportunities for cost reduction and quality enhancement through best practices.
- Collaboration: Communicate and cooperate with production personnel to minimize negative impacts on production during maintenance activities.

- Watch closely the leadership style of the plant management and other colleagues, search for related training online and live, familiarise oneself with the leadership culture of the company
Budgeting & Cost Control:
- Awareness of the plant’s cost structure and demonstrate an ability to mind and reduce maintenance and operational cost

- Daily contact with the maintenance Manager, Themaintenance supervisor and all the members of the plant team.

Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- Higher Technical College, diploma Certificate and Certification As Electrical Technician
- Electronics certification will be an asset
- Knowledge of PLC programming (GE, EMERSON) is HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
- Knowledge to read and use easily electrical and electronic drawings
Minimum Experience:
- +5 years in manufacturing industry preferable in plastics or plastic additives plants as electrical maintenance technician.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Computer skills as a user SAP Knowledge desirable.
- English Language required.
- Familiar and capable of using all hand and power tools related to maintenance, like drill, grinder, etc.
- Welding capability and certification will be an asset
- Able to stand, stoop, walk and lift up to 25 kg
- Willing to work on a rotating shift
- Relevant technical certifications or experience in maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and maintenance software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
