Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Consultant (PM&R) to join our team in KSA-Abha. As a PM&R Consultant, you will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and providing comprehensive care to patients with physical impairments, disabilities, and chronic pain conditions. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing the quality of life for patients. The consultant collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered rehabilitation services and supports the rehabilitation process through consultations, procedures, and ongoing patient management.

Job Requirements:

  • Saudi Nationality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in physical medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Professional Classification and Registered in “Saudi Commission for Health Specialist” as PM&R Consultant
  • A minimum of 8 years of medical/clinical experience in rehabilitation or extended care settings.
  • Proven expertise in managing neurological, musculoskeletal, and chronic pain conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest rehabilitation techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to diagnose their physical impairments and functional limitations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized rehabilitation treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
  • Document clinical findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Stay updated with advancements in rehabilitation medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, team meetings, and hospital committees.
  • Provide consultation and expert opinion to other healthcare providers regarding complex rehabilitation cases.
  • Promote patient safety and adhere to ethical standards and hospital policies
