We are looking for a skilled Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Drive Specialist to join our service and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage drives, along with a foundational understanding of automation, PLCs, and power electronics. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our drive systems in various industrial applications.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) drive systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on MV and LV drives. Identify and resolve issues related to drive performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Provide technical support to customers and internal teams regarding drive operation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Address inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize basic knowledge of automation systems and PLCs to assist in the integration of drives into broader control systems. Collaborate with automation engineers to optimize system performance.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of power electronics to understand drive operation, including inverter technology and motor control principles.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, test results, and equipment performance reports. Prepare documentation for compliance and customer reference.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in service and maintenance of medium voltage and low voltage drive systems.
  • Strong understanding of MV and LV drive technology, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Basic knowledge of automation systems, PLC programming, and power electronics is required.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose complex electrical and electronic issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications in drive technology, automation, or electrical safety are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, including overnight stays.
