Experience: Minimum of 8 years experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically in process and corrosion engineering roles. ARAMCO approval is highly preferred.
Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Process and Corrosion Engineer to join a major oilfield construction project in KSA. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, implementation, and oversight of process systems and corrosion control strategies, ensuring compliance with ARAMCO standards and specifications. Candidates with prior ARAMCO approval and experience in similar projects will be given strong preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and review process systems in line with project requirements and ARAMCO specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement corrosion mitigation strategies (e.g., coatings, cathodic protection, material selection).
  • Conduct corrosion risk assessments and advise on corrosion allowances and protective measures.
  • Perform technical evaluations and prepare relevant documentation including datasheets, PFDs, and P&IDs.
  • Support material selection and ensure compatibility with process fluids and operating conditions.
  • Provide engineering input during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
  • Interface with project stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, and ARAMCO representatives.
  • Prepare and review project documentation including corrosion study reports, material selection reports, and technical specifications.
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the oil & gas industry, specifically in process and corrosion engineering roles.
  • ARAMCO approval is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of international and ARAMCO standards for process systems and corrosion control.
  • Experience with oilfield construction projects including upstream facilities (e.g., wellheads, flowlines, processing plants).
  • Proficiency in corrosion modeling software and engineering design tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Certifications:
  • NACE certification (e.g., CP1, CP2, CIP Level 1/2/3)
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification (an advantage)
