Job description

A prominent production and manufacturing company with over 50 years of history in KSA. Following a recent restructure of the organisations senior leadership, they are now seeking to onboard a Plant Advisor to work closely with the CEO.

Your new role

The new Plant Advisor assists the Chief Executive Officer in all aspects of technical & operational-related issues.

Technical Development :

  • Under the CEO's direction and plant management support, they prepare studies to enhance efficiency and the value chain.
  • Stays updated on advanced technologies and shares insights with management.
  • Conducts technical analysis for future requirements and contributes to plant budgets and technical schemes.
  • Prepares studies on the technical impact of strategic imperatives for plant upgrades and modifications.

Business Planning :

  • Provides technical input for the business plan to achieve company strategy.
  • Develops and reviews schemes for cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and production enhancement.

Technical Research :

  • Studies technical materials for existing and associated equipment across the value chain.
  • Retains consultants for specific applications and ensures maximum value from findings.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive technical knowledge and conducts cost-benefit analysis.
  • Reviews past technical recommendations for optimising returns.

Project Management :

  • Participates in all project phases (budget, scope, tendering, evaluation, execution) to achieve deliverables.
  • Coordinates with project teams and oversees progress, signing off on completed work.

What you'll need to succeed

Education : University degree in a technical field, preferably engineering; an MBA is advantageous. Postgraduate training in relevant technologies is also beneficial.Language : Highly fluent in spoken and written English. / Excellent technical report-writing skills in English. / Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.Work Experience : 10–15 years of experience in Technical Development, with at least 7 years in the cement industry at the executive level or advising the executive level.
