The Role

AspenTech is a fast-paced, growing high-technology company located in Medina, Minnesota. As a world leader in Operations Technology (OT), AspenTech's Digital Grid Management team develops and supplies state-of-the-art energy management, optimization, and control software solutions to energy utility companies worldwide.

In this position, you will be responsible for project execution, project profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will manage complex phases of large projects. This role is vital to the business unit and project delivery, impacting successful project execution, profitability, and customer satisfaction. As a Sr. Professional Services Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and oversee project plans and schedules.
  • Manage contract change processes as needed.
  • Coordinate project implementation plans.
  • Ensure projects are properly tested, approved, and documented.
  • Set project strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Lead and coach assigned project team members.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, priorities, and resources.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience in software implementation and services.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Experience managing highly technical and complex projects.
  • Proficiency with PERT/CPM and Microsoft Project.
  • International project management experience and understanding of diverse cultures and business practices (preferred).
  • Experience in electrical utility industry and/or automation/SCADA projects (preferred).
  • Engineering degree and experience supporting electrical utilities (preferred).

The salary range for this role is $81,800 - $102,300, reflecting our current estimate of base compensation. Final pay may vary based on several factors and may be adjusted in the future. The role is eligible for bonuses or variable incentives. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, charitable giveback days, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement plans.
