Head of Admissions

SEP Schools are seeking a Head of Admissions for the academic year 2024-2025. Our group comprises successful American, British, and National curriculum schools across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. We now seek a leader to support the growth of our schools’ enrolment.
Candidates should:
- Contribute to the achievement of student enrolment targets and be responsible for the processing of student applications and admissions.
- Ensure competent administration and record-keeping of the admissions process, including entry assessments.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for all admissions activities.
- Implement admissions strategies aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and values.
- Support the transition of families from admissions to parents’ liaison and maintain clear communication with academic teams.
- Create an outstanding experience for parents and students throughout every stage of the process from applying until they leave BISM.
- Review all relevant policies, procedures, quality, and customer service standards and ensure their delivery to all prospective families.
- Be an exceptional leader of people, coaching and developing your Admissions, marketing, and communication team members.
- Oversee all aspects of admission and enrolment processes and procedures.
- Develop, execute, and regularly monitor marketing, retention, and admissions plans.
- Lead and drive strategies to generate inquiries through both online and offline campaigns.
- Develop key processes and lead the team to guide parents and students through the admissions process, making the experience positive, straightforward, and engaging throughout.
- Design and develop marketing strategies to meet enrolment targets and positively promote BISM.
- Oversee all parent communication to ensure responsiveness (24-hour response times during the working week), quality (written and verbal language, structure, and attention to detail), and attitude (team warmth and enthusiasm).
- Assign and review communication, marketing, and social media tasks/products for skilled team members.
- Utilize FOH personnel to maximize productivity.
- Liaise with Student Affairs for all MOE requirements and procedures.
- Liaise with and oversee activities coordinator on large-scale events.
- Ensure PRE is achieving the enrolment target and providing high-quality service to new and existing parents.
- Assess risks regarding re-enrolment visibility.
- Work with the entire school to accurately assess the school pulse and identify unique selling points or areas for improvement.
- Meet with prospective parents to explain admission procedures, curriculum, fee structure, and regulations to ensure prospective parents enroll their children at the school.
- Maintain an accurate record of all places available at the school and an up-to-date waiting list that details students who wish to be enrolled and have passed any necessary placement tests.
- Prepare and undertake the annual roll-over of pupils, preparing files for new pupils and archiving leavers and records.
- Prepare and send out all communications regarding admissions events, for both internal arrangements and communications with applicants.
- Attend Trust meetings relating to Admissions.
- Update school events on the website weekly or as required.
- Set a good example in terms of punctuality and attendance.
- Comply with policies and procedures relating to behavior management, safeguarding and child protection, equal opportunities, health and safety, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
- Contribute to the overall ethos/vision of the school.
- Be aware of day-to-day issues within the school and ensure effective communication between all relevant departments of the school and Trust.
- Evaluate a wide variety of academic qualifications, make decisions, and issue offers on non-complex applications, in line with agreed policies.
- Assist in training new members of the Admissions team to ensure they can complete their duties to a desired standard.
- Oversee and lead the Front of House team.
