An established industry player is seeking a talented Visual Merchandize Designer who can creatively blend graphic design and interior aesthetics. Key duties and responsibilities are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature as follows:
Ability to: Work with team and managers to interpret and translate their needs into concepts; develop and translate them into effective communication materials; plan, coordinate, and organize projects and production processes to ensure timely and cost-effective completion; conceive, produce, and create files or artwork; work under pressure to meet deadlines; follow and give oral and written directions.
Knowledge of: Advanced experience in digital art, graphic design, layout, and illustration; operation of personal computers and current graphics software; principles and techniques of typesetting, color theory, digital printing, photography, and printing processes. Additionally, knowledge of retail visual practices, visual merchandising, and promotional campaigns.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art and Design or Interior Design from an accredited university
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of mid or senior level graphic design experience, including experience working with retail environments
