PLANNING ENGINEER (CIVIL/ELECTRICAL)

Planning Engineers:

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or electrical engineering.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience as a planning engineer.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage substations, overhead and underground line projects, and related civil works.
  • Proficiency in project planning software, such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Key Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling:

Develop detailed schedules for each project phase using specialized software (e.g., Primavera or MS Project).

Identify key activities, allocate resources, and estimate durations.

Schedule Management:

Monitor and update schedules regularly to ensure alignment with project progress.

Track achievements, identify deviations, and prepare corrective plans for delays.

Progress Reporting:

Prepare periodic reports on work progress versus the planned schedule and present findings to management.

Highlight delays or issues impacting timely delivery.

Critical Path Analysis:

Analyze the critical path to identify activities that influence the overall schedule.

Provide solutions to mitigate delays in critical activities.
