Job description

Job Purpose:

Prepare Electrical design meeting quality and schedule requirements. Participating in various stages of HVDC project lifecycles, such as feasibility studies, design, construction and commissioning. Performing technical tasks like designing HVDC substations, preparing technical specifications for equipment procurement, Providing technical expertise during bid proposals, client meetings, and design reviews Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures. Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions. Perform design analysis and calculations according to project requirements. Determine construction cost and material estimates based on the designs. Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints. Use latest software and technologies to develop effective designs. Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes. Consider health, safety and environmental requirements when developing the designs. Manage design projects within allotted timelines and MHs. Stay abreast with the latest developments with relevant design fields. Ensure compliance with QMS requirements. Provide assistance to senior design team members.
