Job description

Develop and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with key accounts, ensuring that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Act as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, understanding their goals, challenges, and business requirements.

Build strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.

Strategic Account Planning & Growth:

Develop and implement tailored account strategies for each key client, aligning business objectives with opportunities to drive mutual growth.

Identify new business opportunities within existing key accounts and work closely with clients to expand business within their organizations.

Develop account forecasts, sales plans, and performance metrics to ensure long-term business development and client satisfaction.

Ensure the achievement of sales targets and revenue goals within assigned key accounts.

Identify and seize opportunities for cross-selling and upselling of products or services to maximize account profitability.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts, ensuring favourable outcomes for both the client and the company.

Monitor account health and satisfaction, ensuring that all client issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, customer service, etc.) to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and services to key clients.

Manage and resolve any complaints or issues raised by key clients, ensuring solutions are aligned with the company's values and capabilities.

Market Insights & Reporting:

Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to anticipate client needs and remain competitive.

Provide regular updates and reports on account performance, opportunities, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Conduct regular reviews of account status and performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize results.

Work closely with internal departments such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment on client strategies and deliverables.

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions and exceed client expectations.

Provide mentorship and support to junior account managers or sales representatives as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, with a proven track record of managing key accounts.
  • Experience in building and managing long-term relationships with high-value clients, preferably in [Crane Rental].
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships at senior levels within client organizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret client data and use insights to drive account strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales processes, contract negotiations, and revenue forecasting.
