Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Director of Nursing to join our team in KSA - Abha.

As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, management, and operation of the nursing services within the healthcare facility. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with regulatory standards, hospital policies, and best practices. The Nursing Director provides leadership to nursing staff, fosters a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, patient safety, and nursing practices.
  • In-depth understanding of CBAHI, JCI Standards and other accreditations
  • Proficiency with healthcare management software, electronic health records, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and hospital policies.
  • Monitor and manage the nursing department budget, resources, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency.
  • Promote a culture of safety, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making related to nursing services and hospital operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and innovative care models.
  • Handle complex patient care issues and resolve staff or patient concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to nursing activities and departmental performance.
  • Represent the nursing department in hospital committees, meetings, and community outreach initiatives.
