Enterprise Account Manager (Account Manager, Enterprise)

Job Description

This individual must have more than 5 years of enterprise software sales experience within the information security domain expertise. Experience selling complex technology solutions to large enterprises is essential. A proven track record of successful prospecting and sales closure is mandatory. The annual sales quota and performance should exceed 3,000,000 annually.

Reporting to the Regional Lead, the role holder will be responsible for managing and expanding the business stream in the Named Accounts of their assigned sales territory.

This is a quota-carrying sales role targeting the large Enterprise business market for RSA product lines. The candidate is responsible for generating new business as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing accounts. The overall health and sales performance, including increasing the size of large transactions such as multimillion and multiyear sales, of a defined list of enterprise accounts are key responsibilities, with some accounts having a global scope. Daily activities include end-user sales calls, joint account calls with internal and external partners or stakeholders, cold calling, forecasting, and other sales activities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive local/global strategic account plans based on industry trends and customer analysis.
  3. Manage environments to promote best practices across all key accounts.
  4. Leverage NetWitness offerings and expertise to address customer needs and become a trusted advisor.
  5. Lead key contract negotiations, focusing on frame agreements or ELAs.
  6. Produce proposals, account or market plans, and forecast/report sales activity and recommendations for growth.
  7. Gather detailed account information (install base, financial footprint, revenue potential).
  8. Identify decision makers, understand strategic business challenges, and prioritize opportunities.
  9. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales Ops, and Sales Engineering to propose value-added solutions.
  10. Qualify sales leads and opportunities, managing them through all sales cycle phases.
  11. Identify and close new information security sales within the defined account set.
  12. Maintain a rolling 12-month forecast and pipeline.
  13. Engage in prospecting activities, including cold calling, seminars, and partnering with business partners.
  14. Expand current customer base and acquire new accounts and sales.
  15. Manage account teams for sales, service, and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  16. Ensure high post-sales satisfaction for repeat business.
  17. Shorten sales cycles by focusing on core problems and solutions.
  18. Collaborate with team members to solve complex security problems.
  19. Maintain NetWitness product knowledge and industry trend awareness.

Additional responsibilities include working with virtual teams, ensuring professional sales coordination, managing strategic selling approaches, and engaging with customer executives to strengthen relationships.
