An experienced and proactive senior security manager is required to oversee the security operations and implement the Edgnex security strategy and for Data Centres in KSA (Riyadh). The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures in a data centre or mission critical environment. This includes the prevention and mitigation of security risks, securing of company and customer assets, information and data, safeguarding of personnel, customers and visitors.
Reporting to the Director of Security, the incumbent will be responsible for our DC campus in Riyadh and will be with responsible for site security operations, assuring compliance with Edgnex policies and procedures, and oversee new security construction projects.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Company policies, standards, processes and procedures and act as a champion in embedding them into day-to-day activities.
- Develop and ensure standard operating procedures are up to date and in compliance with industry best practice standard and comply policies and procedures.
- Executes established compliance processes with Edgnex policies, standards, guidelines and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with both internal and external audits - Responsible to achieve compliance with all ISO, PCI, ISAE, etc. audits as well as internal audits. Contributing to the business at large to obtain and maintain all required certifications.
- Create and conduct quality audits within area of responsibility - Responsible for performance management of all subordinates and service suppliers.
Operations Management
- Monitoring and enforcing compliance with Data Centre Security Policies and Procedures
- Accountable for management of all physical and technical security systems with the security control rooms
- Responsible for oversight over control room operations
- Commissioning/conducting of security incidents and investigations or RCA's
- Direct and manage guard force to run daily security operations and monitor performance to KPI's.
- Establish incident management policies, procedures, escalation plan.
- Establish and manage security resources in 24 x 7 Operating Centre.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities and outsourced guard force, including facilitating any arrangements needed to maintain or improve standards of security.
- Lead on arranging security inductions for new members of local staff/contractors
Risk Management
- Risk assessments - Accountable for conducting of annual and periodic risk assessments
- Fire and evacuation drills - Ensure compliance and perform an oversight role and provide guidance and support
- Support incident investigation efforts - Accountable for oversight role and provide guidance and support
Quality
- Enforce adherence to tailor made security requirements from DC clients
- Cultivate strong working relationships with local law enforcements and emergency services
- Minimize reputational risk from a security perspective
- Responsible for submission of physical security operations status reports on a monthly basis
- Pro-active coordination of all security issues
- Responsible for effective Access Management
- Participate in re-occurring security audits and reviews.

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in security management, preferably in a Data Center or mission critical environment
- At least 4 years of experience managing incidents and crises.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency in using security systems and technology, such as CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
- Familiarity with local laws and regulations related to Data Center security.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Have a valid driving license and car
