We are searching for a Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for the production planning, material procurement, inventory control, vendor selection and distribution for our sites in Saudi Arabia.

TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

• Leads supply chain optimization projects for various business units.
• Manage the end-to-end supply chain process including logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
• Manage the Demand Planning Process at country level to ensure optimum stock level & DIO, avoiding stock out and proactive approach towards forecast updates.
• Quality claims follow up the different stakeholders.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure smooth flow of the materials and on time delivery, communicate with forwarders, shipping lines, customs for smooth release of import materials.
• Lead the plant procurement and materials strategies including (but not limited to) : supplier relationship management (SRM) and integration, direct material and Indirect cost-out activities, supplier negotiations and contracting,
• Performs supply chain diagnostics and implementations utilizing lean tools.
• Keeps current of industry best practices and coordinates with Global Sourcing and Supply Chain (GSSC) leaders in the development of new tools and strategies.
• Monitors GSSC profit and loss statement, develops budget and executes total cost of ownership programs.
• Tracks and reports Sourcing and Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators.
• Conducts detailed analyses for projects such as : network optimizations, inventory levels, make versus buy and SKU rationalization studies.
• Develops and manages supplier scorecard performance reports and processes.
• Plans and coordinates training for GSSC personnel.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain and / Logistics and purchasing 3 years in senior managerial level ( Lean Manufacturing background a plus)
• Excellent knowledge of importation, incoterms, and local customs clearance regulations
• Strong facilitation and project management skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team
• Ability to translate Lean concepts and Supply Chain strategies into practical applications
• Solid systems and analytical background
• Fluent in English and Arabic is a must
