Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant at Nahez located in Taif. The Accountant will manage financial records, prepare financial statements, analyze budgets, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role involves providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the company.

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing budgets
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure smooth payment operations (cash, credit cards, checks, and foreign currencies)
  • Verify income sourced from the Foodics system
  • Provide daily sales reports for management
  • Check food and beverage receipts from delivery companies and calculate commissions
  • Review receipts in the free and discounted list and coordinate explanations and approvals with the Food and Beverage Manager
  • Monitor cash shortages and excesses, investigate large discrepancies, and report findings to the financial manager
  • Record income entries into the accounting system
  • Review and deposit cash payments in the bank
  • Implement daily procedures for accounts payable to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
  • Manage costs according to budgets and organizational policies, considering prepaid and accrued expenses
  • Process checks and transfers for supplier payments after verifying account statements
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare and publish payment receipts for cash transactions in the accounting system
