Job description

Basic Function
Provide high standard, cost-effective ENT care to JHAH eligible patients under supervision. Follow hospital credentials and privileges.
Scope
Participate in clinical rounds, multidisciplinary team meetings, quality activities, and adhere to hospital policies. Maintain complete, confidential patient records and ensure timely documentation.
Principal Contacts
Interact daily with patients, families, and medical staff across various departments and services.
Principal Duties
Inpatient Duties:
• Assess, admit, investigate, and manage patients in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Conduct rounds, respond to emergencies, participate in trauma and rapid response teams.
• Plan discharges and provide 24-hour on-call support.
Outpatient Duties:
• Attend clinics, evaluate, and refer patients appropriately.
• Perform minor procedures and assist in surgeries within privileges.
Operating Room Duties:
• Assist and perform procedures, maintain professionalism, and document accurately.
Experience
Board certified with at least 3 years of post-internship experience in the specialty.
Certifications
• Engage in teaching and continuous education, maintain CME credits as per requirements.
