The Academic Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of academic programs within an educational institution. This position is responsible for overseeing academic scheduling, faculty support, student services coordination, compliance with educational regulations, and the efficient management of academic resources.
Coordinate class schedules, academic calendars, exams, and course registration processes.
Assist with faculty recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and workload assignments.
Monitor academic policies and ensure compliance with institutional and accreditation standards.
Manage student records, transcripts, and academic progress reporting.
Support curriculum development and the implementation of academic programs.
Liaise between students, faculty, and administrative departments to resolve academic issues.
Organize academic events, orientations, and staff development sessions.
Assist in the preparation and submission of reports, statistics, and accreditation documents.
Ensure the efficient operation of learning management systems (LMS) and academic software tools.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of student and institutional academic data.
Bachelors degree in Education, Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience (3+ years) in academic or administrative roles within an educational setting.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in academic software systems (e.g., SIS, LMS).
Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt to institutional needs.
