Overview:

We are seeking a visionary and commercially driven General Manager to take full P&L responsibility and lead a well-established team in a fast-growing business focused on large-scale landscaping, afforestation, and horticultural projects across the Middle East. The company combines construction-grade delivery capability with design sensibility and a strong focus on sustainability and greening of urban environments.

This role will lead the business end-to-end, from strategic planning and client relationship management to team leadership and contract negotiation—ensuring operational excellence and profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Organizational Development:

o Inspire, lead, and build the capabilities of a multidisciplinary team with deep expertise in operations and project execution.

o Cultivate a collaborative, high-performance culture that reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and environmental impact.

o Identify and implement structures and processes that support scalable growth and team development.

• Commercial & Strategic Oversight:

o Own and drive full P&L responsibility with a sharp focus on profitability, financial discipline, and sustainable growth.

o Oversee business planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.

o Leverage market insights to identify new opportunities in urban greening, landscaping, and horticultural services.

• Client & Contract Management:

o Lead senior-level engagement with key public and private sector clients across the region, including municipalities, real estate developers, and government bodies.

o Negotiate and implement complex, high-value contracts aligned with the company’s service capabilities and client objectives.

o Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, resolving challenges proactively and positioning the company as a trusted long-term partner.

• Project & Operational Oversight:

o Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of landscaping and greening projects—from residential gardens to large-scale city-wide afforestation.

o Collaborate with technical and operational teams to optimize workflows and uphold safety, sustainability, and performance standards.

o Support the integration of technology and innovative methods in project delivery and client service.

Profile Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience, ideally within landscaping, construction, horticulture, or a related field.

• Proven track record of full P&L ownership and delivering commercial success in a project-based or service-driven business.

• Demonstrated ability to lead client negotiations and manage long-term, large-scale contracts in the region.

• Strong leadership presence with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and deep understanding of both strategic and operational levers.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.

• Regional experience in the Middle East strongly preferred.
