Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced MRO Procurement Senior Buyer to ensure the company procures the most suitable goods and services in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The role focuses on managing transactional and spot buying activities for material supplies (excluding chemicals), maintaining supplier performance, and supporting strategic procurement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, conclude, and maintain transactional and spot buying services for material supplies (excluding chemicals).
Process RFQs, POs, bid evaluations, and release orders related to material supplies.
Conduct supplier cost estimations as required by end users.
Monitor transactional and spot buying activities against budgets, timelines, and KPIs, and propose corrective actions when needed.
Evaluate supplier quality and efficiency related to spot-purchased materials.
Identify cost-saving opportunities in transactional procurement processes.
Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods that meet required quality standards.
Perform or coordinate technical and commercial evaluations where needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing.
MCIPS certification is preferred.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of procurement best practices and solid technical and negotiation expertise.
Proven ability to work in industrial environments, demonstrating leadership and teamwork.
Behavioral traits include attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, independence, and flexibility.
Strong research and data analysis abilities.
Experience in customer relationship management.
