What We Need

Oivan is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 8 years of experience in DevOps tools and technologies, including Linux and networking, preferably in the Middle East region. What You'll Do

We offer a unique opportunity to work and enhance your skills with a diverse, geographically distributed team of technology and business experts worldwide. You will provide DevOps expertise for a key client project and be responsible for:

1. Developing, implementing, and maintaining digital solutions on our client's platform.
2. Contributing to a distributed, cross-functional team to bridge Development and Operations.
3. Developing digital solutions in collaboration with senior software engineers.
4. Improving systems using CI/CD pipelines and automating security testing at scale.
5. Proactively suggesting technical solutions to improve project delivery and customer experience.
6. Conducting training sessions and knowledge sharing with customers and team members.
7. Co-creating runbooks and playbooks for products and projects.

What You Have

As a DevOps Engineer working with our client within a cross-functional team, we prefer candidates with:

1. A relevant bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, with experience in agile development and delivery projects; experience in IT and OT architecture is advantageous.
2. Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to see both the big picture and details, and to explain solutions clearly.
3. Skills and experience in areas such as OpenStack, AWS, Google Cloud, Container Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), SQL, noSQL, Data visualization (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus), and scripting languages like Bash, Ruby, Node.js.
4. Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Helm, GitOps, and automation tools like Ansible.
5. Linux system administration experience.
6. Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is a plus.

This role requires you to be based in Riyadh.
