Job Purpose: To fulfill various tasks and assignments, ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and longevity of equipment and facilities within an organization.

Description:

  1. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to carry out work in a controlled and consistent manner.
  2. Manage day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
  3. Design and develop MEP systems for utility applications, ensuring they meet safety standards and operational needs.
  4. Follow up on renovation projects on-site.
  5. Possess HVAC system experience.
  6. Ensure MEP systems are installed and maintained according to the latest industry standards.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve faults and issues in MEP systems, both in the field and using diagnostic equipment.
  8. Analyze electrical systems, circuits, and equipment for performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  9. Provide solutions to reduce downtime through timely and effective maintenance.
  10. Support the commissioning, startup, and integration of new substation projects.
  11. Program, configure, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various utility systems.
  12. Support automation of electrical control systems for utilities to optimize operations.
  13. Create, read, and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection layouts.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure MEP drawings align with system requirements.
  15. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for MEP systems.
  16. Perform corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components, including troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
  17. Analyze root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
  18. Monitor inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for repairs.
  19. Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of MEP system components and parts.
  20. Ensure electrical installations comply with safety regulations and standards.
  21. Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and electrical hazards.
  22. Implement energy efficiency and sustainability best practices in utility systems.
  23. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs.
  24. Prepare and submit regular reports on MEP system performance and maintenance efforts to management.
  25. Possess professional knowledge of pharmaceuticals, GMP, and SOPs preparation.
  26. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure utilities systems function smoothly.
  27. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
  28. Identify opportunities for process improvements or equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  29. Report to the direct manager.
  30. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a safe work environment.
  31. Perform other duties or assignments as directed.
