Description:
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to carry out work in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Manage day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
- Design and develop MEP systems for utility applications, ensuring they meet safety standards and operational needs.
- Follow up on renovation projects on-site.
- Possess HVAC system experience.
- Ensure MEP systems are installed and maintained according to the latest industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults and issues in MEP systems, both in the field and using diagnostic equipment.
- Analyze electrical systems, circuits, and equipment for performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Provide solutions to reduce downtime through timely and effective maintenance.
- Support the commissioning, startup, and integration of new substation projects.
- Program, configure, and maintain PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for various utility systems.
- Support automation of electrical control systems for utilities to optimize operations.
- Create, read, and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and connection layouts.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure MEP drawings align with system requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for MEP systems.
- Perform corrective maintenance on electrical systems and components, including troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
- Analyze root causes of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor inventory of spare parts, ensuring availability for repairs.
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of MEP system components and parts.
- Ensure electrical installations comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents and electrical hazards.
- Implement energy efficiency and sustainability best practices in utility systems.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and repairs.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on MEP system performance and maintenance efforts to management.
- Possess professional knowledge of pharmaceuticals, GMP, and SOPs preparation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure utilities systems function smoothly.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements or equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency, reliability, and performance.
- Report to the direct manager.
- Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a safe work environment.
