Accounts Supervisor

Our client is a leading Construction and Engineering group with a very strong reputation in Saudi Arabia and the UAE and other regions in the Middle East.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Supervisor to be based at their head office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Overseeing the daily accounting activities required to maintain the company's general ledger.
2. Supervising, directing and reviewing the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset activity, payroll, accounts payable transactions, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.).
3. Cash management activities.
4. Maintaining organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
5. Reviewing general ledger on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy of posting.
6. Coordinating monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
7. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
8. Developing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
9. Developing and managing the financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
10. Recommending and implementing improvements to the accounting processes and procedures.
11. Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, lawyers, bankers, etc.
12. Liaising with senior management and other colleagues.
13. Controlling income and expenditure as well as monitoring and interpreting cash flows and forecasting future trends.
14. Conducting financial reviews and evaluations.
15. Performing other duties as assigned or required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Open to Arabic nationals currently based in Jeddah.
2. Construction company experience preferred.
3. Excellent Accounting skills and experience using Accounts programs.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Good team player.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Salary to be used as a guide only and will reflect experience levels and interview performance. As a guideline around 15-20k SAR per month total package.
