Job description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic IT professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Director of Information Technology, you will be responsible for monitoring the operation of all computer hardware, installation, and maintenance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Serving as the primary contact for all servicing of computer PC hardware.
  2. Maintaining licenses for all software and ensuring all systems are covered by proper maintenance contracts.
  3. Maintaining a sufficient inventory of computer-related supplies.
  4. Keeping logs of all computer hardware and service calls.
  5. Managing configuration records, program files, and data files on the computer system.
  6. Monitoring software performance and maintaining logs of performance reports, errors, and system malfunctions.
  7. Installing and testing approved program changes on hotel computer systems.
  8. Investigating and reporting software problems to vendors or regional/corporate offices.
  9. Training selected hotel employees to manage systems in your absence.
  10. Maintaining technical and user documentation, system reports, and newsletters.
  11. Completing and distributing a monthly activities report to the Corporate Vice President - Information Technology.

You should have a degree in the information technology field, with previous experience in a similar role, and proven knowledge in all IT-related sectors. An excellent command of English and the ability to design networks and provide technical leadership are essential.
