Position Overview:

OMNILOG is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-oriented Sales Head – Freight Forwarding to lead and expand our commercial and sales operations in KSA. This senior leadership position is responsible for driving strategic growth across Air, Sea, and Land Freight services, increasing revenue, managing P&L, and solidifying our market position across domestic and international trade lanes.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary commercial leader with a deep understanding of freight forwarding, strong experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams, and a proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives across Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Land Freight.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various trade lanes and industry sectors.
  • Lead the development of commercial models tailored to the Saudi logistics landscape.
  • Own and drive revenue targets and business expansion goals across all freight verticals.

Client Relationship & Key Account Management

  • Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and multinational organizations.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations, pricing strategy, and solution selling.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and escalations.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a results-driven sales team specialized in Air, Sea, and Road Freight.
  • Define clear KPIs, monitor performance, and foster a high-achieving, collaborative culture.
  • Implement training programs and mentorship plans to upskill the sales force.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, pricing, finance, and customer support teams to ensure end-to-end client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with counterparts in other OMNILOG countries to build regional synergy and share best practices.
  • Partner with the credit team to ensure timely receivables and strong cash flow management.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and freight rate developments in Air, Sea, and Land logistics.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance dashboards to senior management.
  • Provide strategic insights for product and service improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding sales, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong commercial expertise across Air Freight, Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), and multimodal logistics.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage P&L and deliver sustained profitability.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
